Just a month after calling off her fake divorce from Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag is just gushing about the man she married and plans on keeping forever.
In Las Vegas to host the Pure Nightclub Halloween party last night, the surgically enhanced reality star put to rest any doubts that Speidi will last.
"It's been a long summer, but we are together," Montag told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "I'm so excited to be in Vegas and to have our friends there."

No word if the reunited Hills couple wore matching costumes, as Heidi Montag wanted her outfit to be a "surprise" but promised a "super cute-sexy" one.

Guess that eliminates the chance of helping her mom out.
Not only is her marriage back on track, Montag loves her new figure after umpteen plastic surgeries: "I'm definitely feeling the best I've ever felt."

It was titled the Rally to Restore Sanity, but it might as well have been called The Rally to Gather Together an Incredible Number of People and Bash the Heck Out of Cable News.
Indeed, in Washington D.C. on Saturday, Jon Stewart hosted an event that featured 250,000 attendees; performances by The Roots, Kid Rock and John Legend; remained entirely apolitical; and skewered the media for creating an environment of anger and intolerance.
While most of the Stewart's roll in the rally was filled with satire and clips of how the media caters to raising the fear levels of society's most ignorant, The Daily News host concluded the festivities with a heartfelt speech that included:
"What exactly was this? This was not a rally to ridicule people of faith. Or people of activism or to look down our noses at the heartland or passionate argument or to suggest that times are not difficult and that we have nothing to fear. They are and we do. But we live now in hard times, not end times. And we can have animus and not be enemies.
"I feel strangely, calmly good, because the image of Americans that is reflected back to us by our political and media process is false. Sanity will always be in the eye of the beholder. To see you here today and the kind of people that you are, has restored mine."

The ex-partner of Mel Gibson roamed around the aisles at Ralphs in Sherman Oaks before picking a big bouquet of white tulips for her baby girl's momentous moment.
The sighting followed a judge's ruling striking down a request from Gibson to keep Lucia until the morning of her birthday, as he was forced to return his daughter to Grigorieva on Friday evening.
Meanwhile, Oksana and Mel are slated to continue forth with their child support matters with a court date set for November 10.

In exchange for downloading the Bing Bar for Internet Explorer, signing in with a Windows Live ID and then performing various Bing-related actions (setting your homepage to Bing, trying out its new features, etc.), users earn credits redeemable for various rewards.
Those rewards include a Bing-branded Magic 8-Ball (500 credits), a Bing-themed USB Drive (1100 credits) and Amazon.com Gift Card (541 credits), and even games like "Project Gotham Racing 4" (2668 credits). The more altruistic can also designate their points for charitable donations.
If all this sounds vaguely familiar, it's because Bing Rewards shares an "interact with Bing in exchange for prizes" vibe with Microsoft's Bing Cashback Program, which Microsoft canceled this summer after a two-year run.
Bing Cashback gave online shoppers cash in exchange for purchases made through Microsoft's merchant partners, but the program apparently didn't spark enough interest.
"In lots of ways, this was a great feature--we had over a thousand merchant partners delivering great offers to customers and seeing great ROI on their campaigns, and we were taking some of the advertising revenue and giving it back to customers," Yusuf Mehdi, senior vice president of Microsoft's Online Audience Business Group, wrote in a June 4 posting on the Bing Community blog. "But after a couple of years of trying, we did not see the broad adoption that we had hoped for."
Does Microsoft think that a Bing Rewards program will fare better?
"We've been pleased with the positive feedback we've heard from customers, and humbled to have seen some great momentum in our early months. We'll continue to explore new approaches to search and interesting ways to engage users and increase awareness of Bing features," Danielle Tiedt, Bing's general manager, wrote in a Sept. 22 posting on the Bing Community Blog. "Today marks another step forward in that journey, with the launch of Bing Rewards."
From Microsoft's point of view, at the very least, a program like this could lead to an uptick in the number of people downloading the Bing Bar and clicking around Bing itself. But would that necessarily translate into users sticking around for the long term?
Your guess is as good as mine. But trust Microsoft to stick this one out for a while.

Microsoft Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie is leaving the company. The reason? Unknown at this time.
"With our progress in services and the cloud now full speed ahead in all aspects of our business, Ray and I are announcing today Ray's intention to step down from his role as chief software architect," Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer wrote in a companywide e-mail Oct. 18. "He will remain with the company as he transitions the teams and ongoing strategic projects within his organization."
According to Ballmer, "The CSA [Chief Software Architect] role was unique and I won't refill the role after Ray's departure." (Ozzie's predecessor as CSA was Bill Gates. Just to, you know, give you an idea of the huge shoes that any successor would have needed to fill.)
Ozzie's departure is a potentially troublesome development for Microsoft, for two reasons.
First, it's indicative of an executive "brain drain" within the company. In September, Business Division president Stephen Elop stepped down to take the CEO reins at Nokia. And earlier in the year, a shakeup in the Entertainment & Devices Division saw the departure of that unit's president, Robbie Bach, along with J Allard, its senior vice president of design and development.
A handful of more midlevel executives have also departed in recent months. But Ozzie's departure is maybe the highest-profile exit yet, and that it comes without a clearly defined reason (medical, or whatever) has already sparked chatter about what's going on in Redmond's executive boardrooms.
Second, Ozzie seemed to be one of Microsoft's chief proponents not only of the cloud, but also the company retooling itself as a supple, reactive entity in the era of Google and Microsoft. In October 2009, he announced the creation of FUSE Labs, a unit focused on software related to social connectivity, real-time experiences and rich media.
In an Oct. 8 internal memo so-conveniently leaked to several news outlets, Ozzie wrote that FUSE Labs would bring "more coherence and capability to those advanced development projects where they're already actively collaborating with product groups to help them succeed with 'leapfrog' efforts." Initial Plans for FUSE Labs involved about 80 employees from Microsoft Startup Labs, based in Massachusetts, along with the Creative Systems Group and Rich Media Labs.
One of the products out of FUSE Labs, Docs.com, allows Facebook users to create and share Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents with .PDF support and full-text search.
That wasn't Ozzie's only contribution by far, but it's perhaps as good an example of any of his strategic thinking. Cloud-based initiatives, incorporating social-networking aspects, seem like the way forward for Microsoft--but despite Ballmer writing "the cloud now full speed ahead in all aspects of our business," it's still a rapidly evolving space, and one that has yet to show any substantial monetary profit.
In other words, Microsoft could have continued to benefit from having a thinker like Ozzie onboard. And in his absence, the company will need to find another visionary that can help guide it through the coming paradigm shifts. What's Bill Gates doing these days?
