He totally bombed as the host of the 2011 Golden Globe Awards, but Ricky Gervais claims he was invited to come back and host the 2012 event.
The ?Ghost Town? actor stated that despite the rumors that he was asked not to come back, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has extended him an offer.
Gervais blogged, "The ratings were up again and the organizers asked me to consider a third year. I don't think I should. I don't know what I could do better. I certainly couldn't get more press for them, that's for sure."
Furthermore, a rep for the HFPA told press, "We loved the show? it was among the best we've ever had and we were pleased."
